Q: heartrate related to gender??

has anyone found that the fetal heart rate correlates to the sex that they are having?? Im 17 weeks pregnant and the heart rate is 150 and my ultrasound is at the end of the month. we didnt find out the sex for our first but want to for this one. I remeber my daughter heartbeat being high, but I cant remeber what it was. I was reading over 150 means a girl....anyone had a boy with it being 150?? I will let everyone know at the end of the month what it is! :)

With my daughter it was always around 160 and this time it's a boy ...same 160!!

No truth to it. Mine is always high and I am having a boy :( I convinced myself that it was true and I felt I was having a girl but nope he verifies it every month that he is a boy. Heart rate is really from how active they are at the time its taken.

My baby's heart rate has been between 142-155 and she's a girl, so I'd say definitely an old wives tale.

It's totally an old wives tale....my boys heartrate has always been high....all the best :)

My babys heart beat is 155 and its a boy. My ob said 150+ is a boy and around 140 is a girl. Most of the time from what she has seen. She also works at babys first images for 3d so I believe her. But you should ask. 17 weeks you should be able to see something. I found out Im having a boy at 13 weeks.

Mine was wrong this time too correlating with the high heartbeat rates... I think this one might just be a old wives tail! Good luck!!

I'm having a boy and all of my heartbeat readings have been in the "girl" range according to all the stories I've read!
