Q: Need advice on baby boy names!?

I am currently 23 weeks with my third boy fourth child! Both my fiance and I like the name Damien but our families do not! My mother says all she thinks of is the devil when she hears that name. I can not think of any other name for this baby. What should I do...look for another name, or talk to my family and tell them this is it whether they like it or not.

Haha, she is thinking of the movie The Omen, isn't she? I think of that too, but I still like the name Damien a lot. Maybe you can find a variation or something. What about Lucien? I like that too. Also I agree with other people on here that say don't tell people, because SOMEBODY is bound not to like it and will make you doubt yourself.

Just don't tell them the name once you pick it. keep it secret until the baby is born. You don't need to try pleasing a thousand people.

Who cares? I refuse to even tell our family because I don't want to hear their crap. It's your baby to name, not theirs, and they will deal with it. If anything you should have tol them their rudeness was hurtful.

I think you need to name him what you think his name should be. In the end it has to be a name you love. But maybe if you do go with another name Dillan or Dominate?

This is your baby, not theirs. Don't pick a name based on what they think, you'll regret it later. Definitely go with what you like and tell them ' tough crap'!
