Q: The spelling

My husband and I have decided our son's name, but we have no idea how to spell it. There are different ways to spell his name.
1. Christopher
2. Christoffer
3. Kristoffer

Which one is the best way to spell it? We leave in Denmark.

I think something as personal as naming a child is a family thing but to not be judgmental, I think you shouldnt give him the ' traditional ' Christopher spelling because it is too common. Good luck and congrats on ur baby boy.

I would choose the traditional way Christopher simply because children like to find their name on things like badges and mugs. If you have no prefrence then i would choose it for that reason.

I like the traditional but I also have regular annoyances having my name spelled differently(Kellie vs Kelly) so I am a little biased. :)

Personally I do not like 2. Christoffer 3. Kristoffer It looks like Christ/Krist-Offer. Looks like you pronounced it like that too. Just still with the original spelling. Much better!
