Q: Five weeks too early for pregnancy symptoms?

I'm five weeks and have experienced fatigue and occasional cramping for the past couple of weeks. Is it normal to have no breast activity this early in the game? sometimes I wonder if women are exaggerating their boob symptoms or if I'm just a late bloomer. I dont generally have boob activity even with normal cycles. Was looking forward to a nice new rack. =) Oh well.

Thanks all! Petrinka I think I'm experiencing a bit of what you did, but its just setting in, as I suspected. Yes, everyone is different indeed.

All pregnancy are different, with my son my morning sickness started at 4 and a half weeks, and this time it started at 3 weeks, boobs were sensitive at 4 weeks this time round, and when I pregnant with my son I think it was about 8 weeks it started

Every woman and pregnancy is different. I have sore nipples, not breasts, this time. My breasts started getting bigger at about week 5 or so. My previous pregnancies my breasts hurt like heck but didn't get bigger. There are so many pregnancy symptoms that there really isn't a need for one to be exagerrated on.

Also if you're breasts haven't grown yet thy will third trimester as you prepare for breastfeeding. If you breastfeed, they'll grow more then, too :)

My breasts grew and were sore immediately but after about 9 weeks they feel fine, just nice and round. Everyone is different -be careful about accusing women of exaggerating! For many that's an early symptom. I had zero morning sickness but I won't be suggesting other women are being melodramatic! :)

With my first two my boobs grew six sizes and flippen hurt. But it was the acid reflux and moods swings that told me I was pregnant with them. This time it was short temper with drx at mayo hospital (for 2 yr old daughter) that told me I was pregnant. My boobs have only gone up a size and don't hurt. So I feel pretty lucky. I don't even have morning sickness or acid reflux this time.

Thanks! That is so encouraging! My DH has been trying to convince me all is good, but I'm so amped about the newness of everything that I'm uber inquisitive about "whats supposed to happen in x week".
