You can tell by having an ultrasound and that's about it. The range of symptoms and HcG levels overlap so much between singletons and twins there's no way to be sure without visual confirmation.

i was sus the moment i found out on my 3rd preg.had a really strong hpt result i started to be sick everymornin at 7 weeks and my boobs were so painful which i never had any of these sympton on my son or daughter.went for a scan at 9 weeks and told them i thought it was twins.he assured me he could only see one baby and off i went.still not convinced might i ad.still been sick tired ect went for my second scan at 15 weeks and my obgyn did nt have to say anything as i could clearly see my TWIN boys on screen jumping about.im now 22 weeks.so i knew from start.my doc said that docs should listen more to patients when they voice their opinions..keep me posted
