I'm waiting for personal reasons as well as not wanting to tell in case this one miscarrys too. But I think I will be opening my mouth around 14 weeks. I want to be sure this one is going to stick before we spread the word. I would like to tell right now so I can start arranging things at work and get my mother used to the idea but seriously, waiting a few xtra weeks is best for me. Even at 14 weeks there is a LONG way to go lol but if u have a supportive family, I would say tell them when ur ready for people to know and then tell the rest of civilization after the first trimester like most people do. I have a feeling u will know when ur ready :)

I told my parents on Christmas Eve at 6 weeks. My husband's parents live several states away, so we're waiting to tell on his mother's birthday which will be 12 weeks. My birthday is shortly thereafter at 14 weeks so that's when we'll "tell the world" on Facebook. I did tell a friend (who's a mother of young kids and could give me advice) at 7 weeks. She's one of the few people I'd told about the miscarriage, so it was great to let her know.

Sooo...due to the far distance away from all friends and family we are waiting tell after we find out what we are having..20 weeks..possibly even wait longer ..like.. 8mths. Bet we surprise people then!!! lol. Good luck.
