Also your doctor told you to stay away for a good reason-you should not have stressed yourself out and done it anyway!

No doubling time slows as you approach six weeks. Why doctors even check it after five weeks is beyond me. It really doesn't matter anymore-what matters is seeing a healthy baby with a heartbeat on the ultrasound between six and seven weeks.

You do know that after a certain level HCG does take longer to build. Also after so many weeks your doctor shouldn't check it so often. With as high as it is and if your not spotting or having horrible cramps I wouldn't worry much about it.

@Amanda, I was doubling perfectly for twin pregnancy till the last beta - 31, 34, 47...and then boom 124 hours. Don't know what to think. Trying not to worry but will call the doc first thing in the morning

I just checked it out and I looked at the single pregnancy or twin pregnancy you are actually perfect and in a normal beta range for a single pregnancy for a twin pregnancy it is still possible and if you haven't cramped or your not bleeding I think your ok the more your prego the slower the doubling time is I think you good:)
