I think you should go for an ultrasound, Also on what bases are you saying that you were pregnant maybe you just had a false positive I mean things like these happen all the time.Yes, you are right, there is a lot of blood after an MC especially if it's around 6 weeks, could just be one big misconception. Do not trust self-diagnosis go out and get diagnosed properly from your OBGN. Take care of your self-do not be worries if a baby is in there it will stay there they cant just disappear.Much love and kisses.

You should be able to see at least something by 6w4d... unless your timing is off. I went in for a 10 week ultrasound (they wouldnt even see me sooner) and was told I had a baby measuring 6w3d with no heartbeat. I had no spotting nothing, it came as a total shock to me. I didn't miscarry until I was at what would have been 12 weeks.

Are they even seeing a gestational or yolk sac? It could be blighted ovum which I have been scaring myself about. I am 5w6d now and had an u/s at 5w4d and they saw just the sac no baby yet but said that was normal since it was early they want to do another at around 6w5d because they said they would for sure see a fetal pole by then.

If you do lose this baby I know how you feel, it's absolutely devastating and shocking when you're not expecting it. Keep in close contact with your doctor and ask lots of questions to set your mind at ease. I hope your baby is going to be okay! This time around I demanded hormone tests and and u/s right away!!

It was probably too early to detect heartbeat. I was 6 weeks along when I miscarried on Nov 23. I stopped bleeding about 7-9 days later. I took a pregnancy test on Christmas morning & it was positive. The nurse scheduled me for an ultrasound January 20. (I went in for HcG levels on dec 26 & it was 34. I went back on the 30th & HcG was at 215 & progesterone 29.9) She thinks I will be 7-8 weeks by Jan 20. . She said if I had ultrasound earlier than that, we might not see/hear heartbeat. In your case, with no bleeding, I would still have my hopes up. I wish u the best!

Thank you all. The Dr told me to go back for another U/S in two weeks time if no bleeding occurs. Says its probably too early for anything to appear.

They'll probably follow it up with another ultrasound and if it continues to show that there an empty sac, it may be a blighted ovum in which case you will most probably start bleeding or procedure will need to be done. Good luck!

I had a chemical miscarriage around 6 weeks. I had a positive test at home but it was negative at dr. They did an ultrasound and found an empty sac. Then I had a very heavy period afterwards. Your situation sounds very odd. Did they tell you to expect bleeding?

Could it be a chemical? Did they measure levels or just positive/negative?
