Q: I'm so tired but can't seem to be able to sleep. Anyone else have third trimester insomnia?

Ok Ladies,
Anyone have any advice for fighting third trimester insomnia? I have tried warm baths, reading, getting out of bed for a bit, and all the late night tv this lovely planet has to offer. Nothing helps. Of course not only do I seem to be up, but of course my little ninja baby must use this as her prime kickboxing time. Any advice would be so appreciated! Thank you ladies! :-)

P.s. it is definitely 3:20 am. Not fun!

I'm the same I seem to sleep for 40mins at a time :( it's draining me completely, I'm just so sore and my bump hurts when I move. I'm putting it down to a positive thing though as il b able to cope better when baby arrives and il be used to lack of sleep by then.

I was waking in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep. My midwife suggested taking calcium and it worked the next night. He said if that doesn't work after 2 days try a magnesium supplement. Hope this helps you...

Oh I am definitely in the same boat you are and I haven't found anything that helps! I tried propping my pillows up so I am laying on my back like in a recliner and I slept for 4 hours in a row... which is the longest stretch in a week now! If you find anything let me know please!
