Craigslist can be a lifesaver, people who also have twins will get go of all their doubled things for really good prices and it's a good way to see what others bought 2 of.

My sister had twins and she pretty much bought two of everything, except the stroller, she scored a dbl for a decent price. It will get expensive so definitely consider gently used items, except for cribs and carseats, always go new with those. Playpens u can get away with one for a bit but u will eventually need two. Or u can get one of those big floor fence enclosures, they hold a cpl kiddo's. I'm sure someone will throw u a baby shower, ppl are usually really great to help out with baby supplies, esp if there's 2 of 'em!! Start shopping for neutrals, asap, lotsa bargains to be had online. U'll be ok, just dont wait til the last minute.
