Q: 3rd c- section experiences?

In two days I will be having my 3rd c section (last one was 5 years ago) and im slightly petrified! Just wondering if any other mums could share their experiences.

Hi Ladies!
Well as I assumed I was Freaked out But it was alot better Than I remember ! did not enjoy the spinal as they had a few goes at it!
will be able to get out of bed today and shower also take out drips/catheder.
Pain is not to bad and bubs and I are both well.
Ava May - 3.2kgs (7pd) 50cm long :-)
Dont worry you will all be fine!
I was told I waa not aloud to have anymore due to my uterus being to thin.

American baby - yes I am way more nervous This Time around also!

Mamak - I am fearing this needle in my back tomorrow too and then just the being awake while they are cutting me open ! I just cant handle the thought lol

Thanks ladies its nice to know there are other mums on here going through the same thing :-) so I go in tomorrow Morning! No sleep for me tonight! Ill keep you all posted and let you know if it was as scary as what im invisioning

Tasha - im worried about recovery too I have a 5 and 7 yr old at home to deal with too , im thankfull my youngest started school this yr so at least daytime will just be baby and I :-)

Awwww well done mummy!! My date is for 2 weeks Friday eeeek!! Im being sterilised as this is my final baby (no4). Plus if we do decide we want another we would need IVF again, so my tubes are redundant anyway :/

Gahh I'm due my 3rd in 3 weeks. I'm quite nervous this time too. I'm worried about recovery as I had a pretty hard time after my 2nd one :/

Oh bless you I'm lucky mine are a lot older at 9, 12 and 16 but hubby snapped his leg in half 3 weeks ago and is 22 weeks on crutches so I have no one to help me as my boys are useless hahaha and hubby is being worse than a baby!!! :O

Thanks mamaK! Yeah now at some point I will get my tubes tied too. doing great now we are out of bed and ava has figured out breastfeeding!

nicole: Glad everything went well! I was told my uterus was thin last time but they didn't tell me not to have anymore. I thought I couldn't until my new Dr eased my mind and he was even talking about a 5th!?!?! I'm getting my tubes tied this time though lol! Enjoy your baby and hope you heal quickly :)
