Q: help with back pain

I'm 28 weeks and I'm surprised that I've been experiencing such bad back pain already. I thought I was in fairly ok shape before I got pregnant and I've gained about 17lbs. The only position I seem to be comfortable in is laying down. Does anyone have any pointers for back pain??

I had horrible back pain with my first. Some days I could barely function. My Dr gave me some info on certain exercises that supposedly help, but I found the best relief from a pregnancy belt. It worked wonders by taking some of the pressure off. I have no idea why it was so bad, bc I only gained 9 lbs by delivery day & never had back issues before. However, my back has never been the same since carrying her. Look into a belt. It may just provide the relief you need.
