Q: Heart Rate Paranoia?

I know that your heart rate increases during pregnancy. In fact, my increased heart rate is what first told me I may be pregnant again. Over the past week or so, it has been close to 100. It is normally 70-80. But today, it is back down more toward the 80-85 mark. Is this bad? I am only 4w2d, and have been through a terrible miscarriage before and just watching things very closely. Any thoughts? Should I be worried?

My blood pressure was so low in the beginning of the pregnancy that is was almost concerning... then it jumped in the second trimester. My blood pressure is still normal and my heart rate nowadays runs between 100-120. You should be fine =)

I am a registered nurse and a pulse rate of 100 is nothing to be concerned about especially if you have no other symptoms associated with it. Normal heart rate parameters are 60-100 beats per min, yes 100 is on the higher side but still within normal limits. Also your heart rate has nothing to do with your risk of miscarriage. If I were you I would stop worrying about it, being anxious can also increase your heart rate too.
