Q: No help from spouse??

Does anyone else have a spouse that just doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself?
We have a 9 yr old daughter, and a 19m old son and I'm due with twins next month. This pregnancy has been extremely rough on me, and my SO will not step up to the plate and help at all!
He works 3 days on, 3 days off- on his days that he works (12hr shifts) I don't ask him to do anything OTHER than clean up behind himself when he gets home. No- he can't even do that. He'll come home and its a string of work clothes from the front door, up and down the stairs (we live in a split level home), the living room, etc. I'll find socks downstairs, his shirt in the livingroom, his coat in the porch, etc.
He will fight with me every day about him being messy and it's wearing off onto our 9 yr old. She's getting just as bad. I can't stand a messy house, so I'm the one that gets stuck with it- but I do one thing and I'm winded for 1/2 an hr!
Our 19m old is into everything (I know it's the age) but

I agree with Tsimmons. Also, this may be a good learning experience for your 9yo. She doesn't get to do everything daddy does - he's an adult and it's your house and his house. She has to follow the rules. Try to relax :)

You are going to have to relax and not try to be super mom and wife. You have to take care of yourself first! If he leaves a trail of cloths step right over them as if they weren't there. He will never learn if you fix it all the time. It may be hard to do but you have to let him see for homself. Stop fussing just act like if its ok with him its ok with you. When he runs out of cledaan cloths he will get the picture

it gets tiring trying to chase him around too. On my SO's days off, he's just constantly looking to run the roads with his friends, and I'm getting sick & tired of it! I'm 32w along with twins, my pelvis has separated and I'm in pain most of the time. I'm getting to the point of giving up!! Has anyone else gone through this? Any advice would be appreciated!!
