The other possibility is that you lost the baby but fell pregnant immediately

Once your hcg hits about 2000 chugs won't get darker at all (and will sometimes get lighter google the hook effect) some women bleed during pregnancy for no reason. Honestly blood work is the only thing that will give you a concrete answer as to wether your levels are going up and down and then a scan to check progression of bub came be done at 7-8 weeks
