Q: When to break the news???

Hey ladies, I'm 9 weeks pregnant with #6 and just wondering when you ladies told friends and family you are expecting. I don't think my family will be all that excited about it since they've been asking me if its my last one 3 babies ago so I'm in no hurry but just curious how soon you told your family. Thanks in advance!

I've told my family, close friends, and FB family, at 6 weeks. I'm waiting until I'm 12 weeks, maybe longer, to tell my boss though.

I've told my Mum, sister and best friend oh and hubby LOL. I'm only 7w3d. But I made the mistake of telling the world 4 pregnancies ago and lost at 10 weeks, I had told so many people that I had to post on FB that I had lost. Never made that mistake again 4 losses in a row has caused me to zip it. I will tell everyone when I get to 12 weeks. GL with your choices. x

Thank you all! I'm trying to be happy about it but it would be a lot easier if I didn't feel like I had to hide it.

I'm pregnant again and we have 5 kids. I know my mother-in-law is always wondering when we are gonna stop. It doesn't bug me though. As long as my husband and I are happy that all that matters. Congrats on your ppregnancy!!!

That's silly that they don't support you. Some people just don't get the need/want to be a parent to many. Oh well. My husband and I went thru something similar as we got pregnant, on purpose, with our second child when our first was 3 months old. We told everyone the day we got a positive test :) Facebook and all

I'm already starting to show and I know its just a matter of time before they find out. I hate all the negative comments and questions. Its hard to be happy when I know they are all looking down their noses at me. We are good parents and are kids are well taken care of so its not like we are just popping out kids we don't take care of.

All of my pregnancies I announced to my direct family not long after the test so about 4 to 5 weeks. With my son we told anyone who would listen at 5 weeks.
My second at 7wks we announced on FB but that ended in a missed miscarriage do this time we told everyone else after the 12wk mark.
Everyone is different, my sister didn't announce any of her three to wider family and friends until she gave birth and only told people she actually saw one she began to show.
