Q: Bright red bleeding with bad cramps all day today..

Looks like I'm miscarrying. Spotted for a few days and am now having what looks and feels like a full fledged period. I have an ultrasound tomorrow when I'll be 8w2d, which I'm assuming won't show the heartbeat any longer... but I'm a bit in denial because I've read so many stories of people with bright red bleeding who continue to be pregnant. Anyone with honest feedback??

Thank you so much ladies.. I forgot in my sadness to write that I'd been told by my doctors I would probably miscarry, and had been explained what to expect if it happened.. They told me there was nothing that could be done (my levels had increased slowly but not near what the normal levels were). We were shocked to find a heartbeat last week, and so I believe my little bean was fighting to stay. I'm so dreading my ultrasound today but know what's meant to be will be :(

Go to the emergency room, I had that happen and I miscarried.. So go to the ER and see what they say. Because camping and bleeding together is never good.

I pretty much second what Kristyk said.. and also would def get into the ER if you can now rather than waiting. Thinking of you and hoping for the best!

I dont want to get your hopes up but still want u to think positivly. My sister in law told me she had a full period like bleeding with sever cramps went in at 6 weeks that night to her ob who said you've lost the baby the sac was really low was scheduled for a D&C and a couple of days before the D&C she asked for another ultrasound and there was a heart beat and a higher sac. It can happen but not always. Will that sort of bleeding i would be gettig t a hospital now and not waiting untill tommorrow good luck. I know its scary x
