i had two back to back MMC's and got pregnant again after 2 months, only one baby each time. I think the only way your odds change for multiples is hereditary. like if your a natural twin then your odds will increase for every time you get pregnant.

I had a chemical pregnancy and then got pregnant with identical twins 2 weeks later. I ended up losing them at 18 weeks due to the high risk type of pregnancy. I think it was coincidence though. I don't think you have higher odds after a miscarriage.

My mom told me the same thing and I asked the doctor and she just laughed. She said a miscarriage does not change your odds for having twins at all. We had our miscarriage July and we were pregnant again in October with a singleton.

For me this wasn't true - I had a MMC last year and we got pregnant again 1 cycle afterwards. It was another singleton pregnancy (which we also unfortunately lost).

Don't know where you herd that. Bizzar I had 4 miscarriages in 12mths back to back after seeing heartbeats and had to have them all removed by D&C. Never have I been preg with twins and I've had a lot of miscarriages and was even on clomid to conceive this baby and I'm over 35 that's a high risk for twins. Not miscarrages.
