Food preferences. With my boys (1st and 3rd pregnancies) it was salty food. With my girl (2nd pregnancy) it was sweet. I knew I was having a boy this time as soon as I couldn't stand to eat fruit, cereal, ice cream, or anything else sweet. Ultrasound confirmed it at 19 weeks.

Heart rate didn't work for me. All my kids were exactly the same at about 160 throughout all three pregnancies.

For both of my babies I did the ring on a string. You can use a ring or a necklace, then hold it steady above your wrist. If it goes back and forth like a pendulum, it's a boy. If it goes in circles it's a girl. It was right for both my kids. My son is 2 and I'm die now with a girl. I heard this one from my family and is been right for everyone's kids so far.

The heart rate didn't work for me with my son. His first ultrasound was 177 and never got below 155 throughout!

I use the heartbeat. Highs are girls, lows are boys. I have one girl and 2 boys and called it every time just based on that!

I did the baking soda test as well. It fizzed and foamed like crazy... I'm assuming boy. LOL What was yours?
