Q: Sex drive...or lack thereof

So, I'll be 14wks on Monday, everything is going really well aside from constant nausea (but I'm about used to it at this point). My issue is I have ZERO sex drive. Like, it's gone away completely. The idea of sex borders on repulsive.

Anyone else having this issue? I'm usually a pretty amorous woman and I'm starting to get worried about my poor husband. I'm sure he's starting to feel sorely neglected or even unwanted.

Any advice??

I can count the times my hubby and I had sex on one hand during my pregnancy. My sex drive is just now starting to return and my baby is 6 months! Those hormones are killer! I just try really hard to be affectionate in other ways. We cuddle on the couch and in bed, hold hands and he gets his share of oral favors. When I kind of feel up to it I try to make an extra effort to feel sexy which usually helps get me in the mood . I make sure I do my hair, put on some makeup and shave my legs. Fake it til you make it lol.

Honestly, it's pretty impossible for me to be in the mood when I'm in the throes of morning sickness, which my Dh finds understandable. I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and have spent the vast majority of this pregnancy on pelvic rest, plus had m/s until around 16 weeks, uti's and kidney stones, and a stomach virus. Needless to say, my Dh (and I) have been deprived in the marital department, but sometimes it works out that way. I'd talk to your Dh about your lowered drive (which is normal) and your concerns that he feels neglected and, honestly, if I were held accountable for what I do or don't feel like doing at this point in time, I'd be feeling pretty emotionally neglected, myself.
