Q: Is this normal?

Hi there, I'm in trimester two now and my nipples are seeping colostrum already. Also one of them has bad peeling skin, it's not usually itchy and no bleeding or anything else. Is it just dry skin or could it be a mild fungal infection or something? Would be great to know if it's normal or needs special treatment! Thank you.

I would ask your doctor, just to be sure. Good luck!

Call the advice nurse at the clinic, she will call your Midwife and either the advice nurse or midwife will call you back.

Nah, I've had dried colostrum on the tip but this is actual sheets of skin peeling off the sides and even part of the areola. I'll mention it to my midwife but I don't see her for a few weeks. Thanks.

It's very normal. As for the dry skin type stuff it's more than likely dried colostrum. Is it kind was flaky/ crusty? Just bring it up to your ob.
