Q: How to clean "surface/spot clean only" soft toys?

Wasn't sure how to clean soft, "surface clean only" toys so I just wiped them off with a clean, damp washcloth. Is there a baby-safe cleaner I should know about or is this good enough? Dapple all purpose spray and wipes seem like they would work well for this, but then would I need to wipe them down with just water afterwards if baby might put the toy in her mouth? Some of the toys have crinkly stuff in them and have teething items attached so probably wouldn't want to put them in the washer and dryer.

I throw everything in the washer and dryer too. I just wash in cold water and some toys I put inside an old pillowcase. Then I just dry on low or hang dry if it's a plastic-like material. I have put crinkle toys in the dryer before and haven't had an issue. I'm also the type of person that ignores dry clean only tags on clothes too lol

I've always tossed toys into he washer and dryer, never had an issue. They have a lot of things with crinkle stuff or stuffies with a plastic bubble tummy with little shaped balls inside that they can shake and rattle, and teether limbs, they wash/dry great! Just make sure to turn the dryer temp to low or med so u don't melt anything and no fabric sheets. I don't think I've ever spot cleaned a toy, dishwasher and washer should take care of everything u have. Just my opinion tho. =))
