About Me
Hi everyone! I’m happily surprised to be back with baby #3. I’m a musician and early childhood educator but have been a stay-at-home mom since my rough pregnancy with baby #1. Mom is my favorite job, but I’ll be back in the classroom someday. I have two daughters, both preemies. My older daughter turned 2 in June, and my younger daughter turned 1 in July, so they're almost "Irish twins." I was on CTP for a long time when trying with my ex. My husband and I got married in April of 2017, and our first was born at 36+2 via c-section (failed induction due to fetal distress) soon after. She was tiny- 3lbs 14oz and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. When she was 5 months old, we decided to TTC again. We conceived on the first try, and our 2nd girl was born at 33+6 and weighed 4lbs 3oz. She spent 18 days in the NICU. I have had some early losses in the past, so I'm just hoping things go smoothly for baby #3. We were not trying, but I am very excited. My husband is still coming around.
My Birth Plan
I really wish I could have a VBAC, but since I had 2 C-Sections 13 months apart, I'll probably be another C-Section. We'll see. I am meeting my new OB at 6 weeks, so maybe she'll be able to tell me more. Mostly I hope I don't get preeclampsia a 3rd time and have to deliver early again! I had to wait until the day after they were born to hold my daughters, so I hope I get to hold this little one right after birth. Every story is different. Pregnancy for me is both frightening and extremely beautiful. My Personal/Family Photos
