Quartz3's Pregnancy

About Me

My first pregnancy ended in a termination in 2012 due to the fact that the baby's brain had failed to develop. As if that alone wasn't bad enough, the Genetics Team was not able to tell us for sure whether it was a fluke or we are the unlucky carriers of a genetic condition which would carry a 1 in 4 risk of reoccurring each pregnancy.

However, we were lucky enough to get a beautiful, wonderfully normal baby boy in 2013. So we decided to tempt fate again and got pregnant on our first cycle trying! Now we're crossing our fingers that everything goes well....

Nov. 20 - NT scan : normal!
Jan. 7 - Level 2 ultrasound: normal!
Jan. 12 - Fetal MRI; NORMAL!!!!

	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Mar. 22, 2015 10:58am ahhh I am due in like 4 days!! lol... I am surprisingly more comfortable than I thought I would be!? This lil man has been playing many tricks on me though. I have never been in natural labor so I keep having "signs" that its close now.. for two weeks haha! I will probably end up over due!! :D crazy.. one preemie and one over due.

	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Jan. 14, 2015 6:46am i have been kind of nervous off and on. Especailly being 30 weeks and my symptoms began around 31 ish weeks. soo yeah ... I am trying to remain optimistic about every thing. So far this one doesn't have any signs of being growth restricted like liam was by this gestation so thats good. This baby supposedly weighs as much as liam did at birth which is cool . especially since i am only 30 weeks and i had liam at 34. I am trying to prep my mind for the labor and birth I wanted before and keeping my mind clear and optimistic.
