Emily Noelle's Birth Story

Had to be at the hospital at 6am. Dr broke my water at 8:30am. Contractions started getting intense after that...got spinal block at 10:30am (was supposed to have epi but stupid person was training and screwed up). That lasted maybe 2 hours, then every 15 to 20 mins after that they had to keep rigging me up with more numbing pain meds...dr was even by my side while I was pushing getting ready to put more in my IV just incase it wore off while pushing. Anyways, by 5:23pm I was 10 centimeters and nurse told me I was ready to push!! Jeff held one leg and the nurse held the other, I grabbed onto my thighs and pushed pushed pushed till 6:15pm when I finally heard my baby girl cry!! I exploded with emotions at that very second, bawling my eyes out and my body started shaking uncontrollably! The love I felt for my baby girl at that very second with without a doubt the most intense feeling I have ever felt, and it's done nothing but get stronger with every passing day!!!! Since the birth, I have gone thru horrible spinal headaches, with 3 blood patches. Probably the worst pain I have ever experienced! Glad to say that the 3rd one finally worked and I'm in no more pain, headache wise that is!! I would do it all over again with the same consequences just to have my beautiful baby girl with me!!

Ya I remember when I used to go without cuz of how pricey it was! But oh well.

I think I'm going to buy my first baby thing today!!!!!

Yeah...sometimes people can't afford it I guess. It can get pricey. But i bet she could afford insurance more than that total!

Is her insurance going to cover it? I HATE that. I was driving through the mall parking lot, and went to stop at a atop sign, and this lady nailed my car door. Stupid head was not paying attention. I had my kids in the car.

It is this little fun test you can do to determine the gender of your baby. It isn't 100% by any means, but it is fun. You put some pee into this cup and swirl it around for about 20 seconds if I remember correctly and wait 5 minutes. Dark green is boy and orange is girl. You can get it at walgreens or rite aid and even babies r us. For around 30. And you can only do it as early as 10 weeks
