Ryleigh 's Birth Story

My water broke at midnight on the dot. Went to the hospital, got all admitted after the amnio test came back positive, and waited for contractions to start. Not much was happening so we decided to start Pitocin. I got an epidural, and still not much progress. Around 12 noon, I progressed from 3 to 4 cm. about 1, I hit 5, 6.... Then about 2:00 I hit 10 cm. an hour and a half to go from 4 to 10 was exciting! The nurses said its time to start pushing and made the necessary preps. I sent someone a text at 2:17 saying I was about to start and at 2:22 my little princess had arrived. It was literally one push and soooo easy! She was 3 weeks early and we did have to have her watched by the Nicu nurses for about 10 minutes but we went home from the hospital on time and she's doing well. Of course we're wrapped around her tiny little fingers already!!

So much in fact that towards the end I changed my mind and decided I didn't want to give birth after all, LOL! Owen is doing great, already 5 weeks old! Time is flying by :( I was going to see if you were on facebook? It is easier for me to post pictures and stuff on there if you are interested, just let me know!
