Aidan Richard Forney's Birth Story

Right after he was born they put him on my chest right away. He stayed with me for a little then they had to take him and clean him up. They said because of how much he weighed they had to take him to the NICU. :( they put him under the heater to stay warm. Because he was taken so early i was not able to breast feed him first. After two meals they noticed his blood sugar was low and they had to put him on sugar water through an iv, but was slowly getting off, early this morning (7/9/12) they turned it off. Yesterday they had to put a feeding tube down his nose because he would get so tired trying to eat. so they did the tube and allowed me to breast feed before they do each feeding with the tube.. And the hardest thing i ever did was leave the hospital today with out my son! :,-( But he will be home before we know it and we don't live far from the hospital so we can go see him.

So i told them get him out he will gain weight better being out.They gave me steroids for his lungs.. He has perfect lungs!! And is just a perfect little boy!! :) I will post more pictures later been busy going back and forth to the hospital One proud mama!!! <3
