Finally an answer....but where to go from here...

I called in this morning and reluctantly asked for an ultrasound. I say reluctantly because it can not be good to keep having ultrasounds multiple times in a week....which worries me. I explained that I was almost positive my cervix was open and my spotting hasnt gone away. So...I left work and headed to my ultrasound.

Just as it has been the last week, heartbeat was great, baby grew by leaps since last Thursday and my cervix was closed (I really thought it wasnt closed). I do, however, have a teeny tiny subchorionic bleed in the uterus that is not affecting the baby or the sac. The u/s tech said pelvic rest, but I am still waiting on my doctor to call me for further discussion.

So...I have yet another bleed like I did in October. What luck. Now I just have to wait and see what my doctor says.

Made me smile so big to hear that baby has grown and the HB was good!! I am passing on tons of prayers and hugs for you!! I am just so happy to hear this all isn't affecting baby... you'll be out of your first trimester soon and I hope that the bleeding will go away and everything will get better!

I'm really happy that little baby is hanging on tight in there! Are you still seeing the same dr that said he wouldn't do anything for you last time you had the bleed? If so, and he tries to tell you the same thing, get out of there and find another dr! ASAP! I'm really pulling for you!

I am glad to hear that baby is doing okay. Just keep up that pelvic rest and treat yourself nice. Take one day at a time :)

Praying for you, lots of women have subchronic bleeds that never cause any problems outside of the stress the bleeding incites. Hoping that's the case for you, everything sounds like it's going well!
