Place your bets!! Boy... or Girl??

Friday is the big ultrasound and hopefully the baby cooperates so we can find out if we are having a miss or mister! Anyone have any guesses? :)
My guess is a boy... just because of some pregnancy differences, but we'll see. I also guessed boy with my daughter, so my record isn't that great. My husband is currently guessing it is a girl. He has flip flopped a bunch and has now solidly landed on "girl".
We don't really care either way... I'm just excited to find out so I can start planning!!! Like.... do I need some baby boy clothes?? How are we going to decorate the nursery?? Stuff like that. Tomorrow is Amazon Prime day and I am so hoping the crib I want happens to be one of their deals. That would be great. Since Elle is nowhere close to being out of her crib and hers converts to a toddler bed anyway... we need a second crib.
Overall I have been feeling pretty good. Still get bummed out about all of the weight I have gained from my meds, but trying to focus on the positives. I don't think it has helped that the weather has been quite humid here. I really feel for people who are full-term in summer or live in really hot climates. UGH. Not sure how you do it!! Today it is supposed to be 91 here, feel like 95, and be ultra humid. I am at work for most of the day in the a/c, which is helpful... and we definitely have our a/c on at home. I love the smell and sounds of outdoors and would love to have the windows open, but it is just too damn hot outside. I am already a human inferno. Yesterday I sat with an ice pack on my arms and neck to cool myself down. Is this what menopause is going to be like?! Now I know why my mom complains about it so much...
My immune labs FINALLY went down instead of up after my last draw. WOO WOO!!!!!! They are the lowest they have been during this entire pregnancy, which is the best news. Waiting to hear from the NP I follow with if it means I can taper off any more meds. :) :)

I am going to go with boy since that is what your gut says. I really hope you won't leave us lovely ladies here on CMP in suspense ;) I definitely know how you feel with the whole humidity thing...and I even live on the eastern side of WI (near Lake Michigan) where it is a bit cooler so I haven't had to suffer as much. But ugh! I have had a few rough days where I do not want to go outside at all! I can't imagine having to deal with this on a regular basis. Please remind me of this when I am complaining of the snow in winter :) So happy to hear that your immune labs went down! Sounds like everything is going well. Can't wait to hear about your u/s...I'll be stalking you :) |

It's hot and humid here (north central KY) and going outside with the babies is just miserable. I am so glad I wasn't super preggo last summer because I would have been a mess. Luckily, I was in my second trimester most of the summer. |

Also with boys you crave salty things , Girls is sweet things. I'm having a boy and want nothing but salty lol.. Let us know what your having :D I think were december buddies |
