Ultrasound

So I went in for my ultrasound this morning and I just have to say that if you are going with a midwife and she can't do your ultrasound. Go to a doctor office to get it done instead of the hospital!! She did the ultrasound on the outside of my belly first and we could see the baby but couldn't see/hear a heartbeat... Scared me to death!! So then she switched to a transvaginal and looked at the ovaries and kidneys and all that before looking at the baby while the whole time I was worrying. And then, while she was looking at my cervix she asks " have you had any bleeding since you've been pregnant"? WTH?!
She asks that with no explanation at all. So I tell her that I had a little bit of spotting and ask her if everything is okay and she says "im just looking" And throughout the whole ultrasound she kept going back to look at my cervix. But when we did finally get to see my little jellybean in there everything looked good and we had a heartbeat of 151 bpm! I am still kind of worried though as to why she was so interested in my cervix and hoping that everything is okay with that but it calmed my nerves a lot to know that baby is doing good so far!!
And my due date changed too. Instead of being 8w 5d I am only 8w 1d. So I am due June 27 now :)

I know! That's exactly what my midwife told me and I thought I understood lol but when I got there it just freaked me out anyways. So I am trying to stay calm. I called my midwife and she said that they always send her a report of the ultrasound and that she will call me as soon as she gets it to let me know but she said that she's sure everything looked fine

dont let them scare you! especially if they arent going to elaborate! Ive been through that once already! They just want to cover their own butts in-case something goes wrong, and instead all they do is make you worry for no reason!
