End of the 1st Trimester

I am still surprised that this pregnancy is actually happening. We just had our twelve week screening and everything went well - except that the tech was the least pleasant ultrasound tech ever. Usually they will at least tell you what you are looking at - this one said like three words to us. Anyway...I saw her measure the nuchal tube and it measured 1mm which made me feel better (since I am now "of advanced maternal age").
It looks like this is really real. Our little guy is going to love having someone to play with in a year or so. It is his 1st birthday on Thursday. I can't believe that a year ago this time he was still inside!

I don't understand why some people choose jobs where they need to interact with people and they are just not pleasant. That is one thing that urks me. I mean come on, it s a pregnancy and its exciting! They should know that and at least talk to you and tell you what is going on in there! |
