Some good news and some oddness
By josamarie » Posted Jun. 18, 2015 4:01pm - 264 views - 3 comments

Just got a call from my clinic to discuss the results from yesterday, doctor reiterated that it's all good news in regards to baby, growth and hb are perfect and she's very happy with everything. She did mention that I have a small sch, which makes me nervous just because there was one with our daughter and we lost her, and I never had one with Max. I know in my head that it's just coincidence, and I've known lots of moms with them that had perfectly healthy babes, it's just so hard to keep those niggling little worries out of your head.

The weird news is that I evidently have a bicornate (heart shaped) uterus. I'm really not sure how that was missed in two previous pregnancies, but it may explain why both of my IUDs fell out. I have appointments with my regular OB and with perinatology next week, so I'll definitely be asking more about it then. Just strange, but mostly good news so I'll take it!

Yay! So glad u got some good news and partial stress relief! Do u plan on finding out the gender, or are u one of those patient people who can wait it out?

I have one, too! I was told it could have happened after my miscarriage at 19 weeks, that you don't necessarily have to be born with it. The late miscarriage could have weakened muscles to make it take that shape. Not sure how true that might be, though...
