Busy summer!

I feel like we've been on non-stop go since the end of June! We were in South Dakota for the 4th, home 1 weekend, then the weekend in Chicago, home a week, then a week in Michigan (where I lost my wallet and decided I was capable of a too-long bike ride around Mackinac Island and started bleeding). now we're home: Find out the gender of baby in less than 4 days, then my in-laws come to our house for the weekend (can you spell cleaning frenzy?). Then Max and I fly out next Wednesday to go to Oklahoma for three weeks, where it sounds like I will have fun refereeing a fued between my grouchy brother in law and my mom, since my sister is way too pregnant to be able to handle them on her own. All this in the midst of the ever-present vomiting and migraines that have been the hallmark of this pregnancy thus far... I'm not complaining, it's all made things move very fast, but man, I feel like once this hubub is settle down I won't know what to do with myself!

I feel like this whole pregnancy is going to blur by: we'll have about 6 weeks of down time between getting home from OKC and Halloween, then it's holiday season, and then BABY! I don't remember being this frazzled with Max, even though I was working more than full time, but I also don't think we had quite so much happening! It makes for fun days and one tired momma come bedtime!

Wow, very busy. Now I'm exhausted ha ha! I just get tired going to the store or driving to the next town over (45 min away). So you are finding out the gender in a few days?!?! Any guesses? I'm lucky I didn't get much vomiting with this pregnancy, but migraines are definitely more common than they were with Tim... I had a slight feeling this was a girl but was proved wrong today :-)

It's been a fun summer, but I'm so exhausted I'm definitely ready for some r&r in September! I really look forward to next summer, which will likely be just as travel intensive (road trips with a 2 year old and a 4 month old seem just up our ally!) but we won't be on anyone else's agenda (this was Chuck's last summer working and I stay home now!), so we can just take our sweet time and really enjoy the journies!

Sounds very exhausting, but I'm kinda jealous of how fast the time is going for you! I bet you're having a lot of fun, but I know my energy levels wouldn't allow that much activity. You are blessed!
