Back to bed I go...
By Mrs_HT » Posted Jun. 10, 2014 3:00pm - 302 views - 4 comments
So I went in for testing again today and I am back on bed rest due to low amniotic fluid, elevated blood pressure levels and low blood platelets. I did have protein in my urine so I have to do another 24 hour urine test and go back for testing on Monday. It was 220 and she said under 300 is good so I am not sure why I am doing another one. I also have another ultrasound scheduled. Third one in three weeks. I am trying not to assume anything but my OB is out of the country but I meet with him on Thursday, so I am hoping he can shine some light on whatever is going on. They have not specifically said that I have preeclampsia so I am going to stay positive and pray for better results.

Comment from emmapeal9 » Posted Jun. 11, 2014 11:00am It will so nice when your doc returns. It's so frustrating to get 'maybes' or speculations. Sending good thoughts your way!
Comment from Mrs_HT » Posted Jun. 11, 2014 10:46am I have accepted the bed rest, now I just want to know what is going on. I have never had the ultrasound doctor come into the room to do a repeat level check so that had me nervous. Then I don't like that the on call and the nurse from this week didn't explain anything. My doctor's appointments are usually pretty chill, but this one will be full of questions.
