Prental Tests: Group B Strep Test (GBS)
I don't remember getting this test in the Navy so I was a little taken aback by the experience. It wasn't bad just softly uncomfortable.

Installed Car Seat
Today we got the seat installed and my DD is in love with the seat being next to hers but she told me it's the wrong way. Hahaha it was so cute. Anyway it matches my napper play station for baby and I love the colors! 7 weeks or less to go and I can not wait.

Finished the Nursery
Baby's room is done. Sharing with their older sibling so it's a good blend I think. I live in an apartment so I did the best I could with what I could. My daughter picked out the colors and I just made it fit both her and baby. On April 28, 2014 at 28 weeks 3 days pregnant
Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
I went to this appointment alone and arrived early. I drank the orange drink quickly and waited out 20 minutes waiting for the doctor who wasn't in so u saw the Midwife. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes in the lab and the pinch of the shot actually hurt today. Got the results May 12 and they were negative! Happy and blessed.

Started Childbirth Classes
Took DD to sibling class and took a tour of the hospital. It was nice as DD got to watch a video and practice swaddling and changing a realistic baby doll. The one she choose was a boy which helped even more since we are expecting a boy. She did really well in the class and has a lot of questions so all smiles from me.

Bought Baby's First Outfit
After the Anatomy we decided to buy a few items and purchase undershirts, night time outfits, socks, and a few outfits.

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
So, everyone knows we are now having a boy. I sent out a customized picture that DH and I made and sent it to everyone since my family is so spread out. I love that it was sweet and adorable.On March 6, 2014 at 20 weeks 6 days pregnant
Found Out Baby's Gender
Today we found out we are having a boy. My husband and daughter came along and it was great to see their reactions to the sounds and pictures. I have an active child inside my tummy and it was cute to see him active and seemed to be playing. 10 weeks ago he was measuring big and today measuring just under so good day all around.

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Baby has been moving like crazy these last few weeks and the movement has been extremely strong so I thought it would be the perfect time to see if DH could feel the kicks. I was sitting on the couch and baby was moving constantly. I whispered for DH to come to me and I placed his hand on my tummy and felt a strong movement and was like, "Was that they baby?" :-) It was so hilarious awe, and cute. Now he and DD have both felt baby move. I can not wait until the kicks become responsive to one's voice that way they can see that baby recognizes them.

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
I came in and I had a small bump but I dressed it down and she was in a phone conference when I came in so she didn't see it when I sat down. Once she hung up, she and I began to catch up as we hadn't talked since before Christmas when we closed that wedding season. I just said, "So, I'm pregnant...again." She knew about my miscarriage and her eyes got big. She came around the desk and gave me a hug. she asked me how far along I was and when I was due. then we carried on about our day. I love her because she knows how much this meant to DH and I and I was happy she was happy for us.

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
Today is my fist day in maternity clothes and it feels great. I only got two pair of pants and two belly bands with a few shirts and i don't feel like i am suffocating!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
Today after my nap I have felt nonstop movement. If you have had a child before you know the feeling. I am so excited I could cry!

Announced Pregnancy to Family
Today, 1January 2014, Hubby and I saw numerous ways to announce our pregnancy and I thought of two clever ways. One was I created a hidden word search until which the extra letters would spilled the beans. This was for all our immediate family. The second way was my hidden eye exam message using my first born. Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Today we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was really great. The baby was kicking and waving. My heart just melted.

First Prenatal Appointment
We had to set up an appointment early because we didn't know if it was a true positive so the doctor had us come in for an ultrasound and pregnancy test.

First Ultrasound
We had an ultrasound after we found out that the test at the OBGYN was positive in order to truly see if it was a new pregnancy. The tech saw the fetal pole and sack. She told me I was dating around 5w 5d.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I didn't want to test again but something told me to ask DH to get me a test. He forthwith one with two different test inside (a plus minus, and a digital). Both came out positive.

Told Husband/Partner
As soon as I saw the tests I brought them to him and we were both nervous because of our recent loss and were stunned.
