Bed rest Modified!
By Mrs_HT » Posted Jun. 30, 2014 4:20pm - 392 views - 4 comments

Today u went in and though my blood pressure was still on the high side it seems to be stabilizing so OB moved me from strict bed rest to modified! So happy to be able to be out of bed and able to cook! I'm just saying you can't keep a Chef eating out. It's just not right! Lol baby is doing fine as am I though I have so much swelling in my feet! The modified bed rest came at the perfect time because my nesting instinct has kicked in and though I am taking it easy because I want this little one to have as much time in the womb as possible. My sister/labor partner (along with my husband) is coming into town next Tuesday so I have to make it until then! Carpets are getting cleaned this week as is my car, all babies clothes , blankets, and towels are washed and now all we have to do is wait. I have been having some cramps when baby moves but OB isn't concerned and we didn't have a cervix check today so I am just awaiting on labor.

I have to learn that is okay that some things may not get done. Lol. I don't want to have to clean my house after the baby is born especially with people coming over so I have cleaned as much as I can and am having professionals clean the carpets this weekend. I made the best stuffed shells last night along with some banana bread for after baby. I am making some pound cake and some cinnamon rolls over the next few weeks just to satisfy my sweet tooth and figured I'd gage how I felt after baby to bake some breads and pasta since they are time consuming. Resting is becoming more easy as I am so tired and having back pain and cramps daily. Hope all of you are getting rest too! These days time seems to be flying by! A little over two weeks to go....

Eeeek, thats awesome news! U must've had the BEST dinner lastnight!! Glad to hear things are a bit better now, couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I'd go nuts if I had to nest from afar, I hate having ppl do stuff for me.
Let the patience countdown begin!! =))

That's great news! I think my nesting came and went already.
Not long now!
