As the weeks roll on

I went on Monday morning to have the Glucose tolerance test done. I felt pretty good during the day and didn't have a sugar crash like I had with the last pregnancy. Got the phone call today that I past! So happy I can continue with no restrictions to my diet.

Belly continues to grow and it's becoming a little uncomfortable. My lower back and pelvis are so sore. I wake up in the morning with pain in my pubic area too but no other signs of impending labor so I am keeping myself on alert, but not making myself crazy. Mathew keeps flipping from Breech to labor position often so it changes the size of my belly. Last night he kicked so hard my husband saw it and was ecstatic to see the kick instead of just feeling it.

TSH levels are still a little supressed so my Endocrinoligist wants to check it again in another 4 weeks... I split my .50 mcg Synthroid in half this morning so I am hoping that i can get the level to .2 with cutting the pill. We will see. I wish the weeks would speed up a little bit. I feel like time is dragging this week.

pbc910 - Thankfully you have close eyes on it! Sounds like everything is going well though!!! Not too much longer now!!

My endo basically told me that the babies were going to "wreck" my thyroid these last few months so he told me not to be shocked if my TSH was high. Last time it was 2.72, still normal but higher than he likes. I don't usually get symptoms when my TSH is high but I'm just suspecting he may be right.

Yes, Amanda. Mine seems pretty simple compared to others, but I am sure that Hypothyroidism shouldn't make you more susceptible to Gestational Diabetes especially if you are being treated properly for hypothyroidism. Always have Hope!
pbc910, I hope your numbers are in a good range. Why do you feel they are running a bit high? Racing heart?
Thank you Josamarie!! It is definitely a great milestone!

So you have hypothyroidism and passed? That gives me hope. I go for my test tomorrow morning and I'm a little nervous. But congratulations! Time is chugging right along and I'm happy to see you doing so well!

Yay for passing the glucose test. Hopefully you can get your TSH to where it needs to be. I get mine tested next week and I have a feeling they are probably running really high.
