The sweetest thing.

Our Easter was pretty quiet and uneventful. Went to hubby's grandparent's houses and ate and socialized for a little while. Then we headed home after dropping off some Redbox movies we rented Saturday. I've been feeling extra frisky these days, so sex is on the rise for us lately! :P After last night's festivities we were just laying in bed, chatting a little and I told him how good of a daddy I thought he was going to be. He told me he thinks I'll be a good mommy. I hope so. I kept mentioning how I was feeling her move and wiggle and he told me that Saturday morning he could feel her move a good bit. I was a little confused at first and asked him if I was awake and he said no. I said "well, you didn't tell me" and his response was "well that was between me and her." *Heart melts* I thought it was the sweetest thing. I can't wait to see him holding our baby girl. It's going to be so new and exciting for us and I just can't wait to see the look in his eyes. My hub's isn't a very "emotional" person and has never really expressed his emotions much. In the 5 years that we have been together I have never seen him cry. Not once. Not even at our wedding or when he proposed to me. I really hope to see some tears at the birth. That would just make my life, right after the birth of our baby.

I'm hoping to get the paint for her room purchased this week. Possibly. We've been pretty strapped lately and haven't really had the extra money to do anything besides pay bills and buy groceries and gas. Sucks living paycheck to paycheck sometimes. I can't wait until I can finish school and get a more stable, better paying job. We have pretty much all of the cash put away to reorder the crib. But I keep checking and the crib I've been wanting is still out of stock. I may end up having to go with a different one. :/ I just want to get the room painted and the crib ordered and set up. We still need to get a matching dresser for the crib, too, sometime after we get these other things done. I feel so rushed now that the time seems to be ticking. 3rd trimester this week. Can't believe it's gone by so fast! She'll be here before we know it!

I caught wait to see how he acts around her and with her. I hope he just adores her and wants to hold her all the time. It's definitely going to be a different side of him I've never seen or knew existed.

That's so sweet! Charlie is the same way, I've only seen him tear up once in 5 years together... he didn't cry when Max was born, but he couldn't stop smiling for about a week, just as good!
