Sorry, I haven't been on to post a journal lately, but most of you already know our girl finally made her appearance via csection on July 17th @ 7:28am weighing 8 lbs 6 oz and 20.5" long. She couldn't be more perfect! Looking just like her daddy and stealing all of our hearts. I couldn't be more in love with my hubby now than before. It's such a blessing to watch him with her! Just melts my heart!

The csection went smoothly. I was up on my feet about 6 hours after. It was definitely super sore the first few days. I feel like I'm almost back to normal now though. We had her pictures taken yesterday on my original due date - ONE WEEK OLD! It's crazy to think she's finally here after all this time and we are so thankful for a healthy baby! Our time at home has been good. I went/am goin through the Baby Blues, as the call them. Just crying a lot and feeling overwhelmed. But, I seem to be feeling much better, and it doesn't seem to be progressing into post partum. I was worried for a minute. I've been so attached to my husband the past week. I cried about him going back to work this week.

Anyways, sleepy.
Okay... Nap time! :)

Getting out of the house and into the sunshine just for a half hour helps too. Getting away from the baby and going for a walk makes you feel better and calm down and actually miss the baby and want to get back to the mommy duties. I know how overwhelming it feels and, for me anyway, getting out made it not so overwhelming for a bit. It helped me put things back into perspective. This time around, my hubby would kick me out of the house when he saw me getting too listless and spending too much time inside taking care of the kids. I didn't even get the blues this time and I think that is a huge factor. I know how hard it is to watch hubby go back to work! I was actually jealous of mine because I felt like he got a "break" when he went to work and got to talk to grown ups all day, lol. Your daughter is so beautiful! Congratulations again and if you need to talk about anything please hit me up. Sometimes talking to someone who's been through it and knows its all normal really he

Just Keep up on your Vitamin B12 and B6 to help out with the Baby Blues. You may have to take them additional to your regular vitamins. They do help! Congratulations, she is absolutely adorable!!!
