Blue or Pink???

I can't believe in three days time I'll get to find out what this little baby is, if of course baby is cooperative tehehe. I don't really hold too much stock in believing in these but its fun to see if any of it is true come Friday.
Here are my wives tales and Chinese predictions plus:
Chinese prediction = Girl
Morning sickness was severe and early = Girl - still on the anti sickness tablets.
My butt is much bigger and so are my thighs = Girl - I caught sight of it in the mirror yesterday and was VERY shocked at the size of my rump.
I'm carrying low = Boy - I feel like its low but I didn't think this would really change until baby gets much bigger, plus I don't really have much to comepare with so I include a picture for you to judge if you wish.
I crave sweets, chocolates and cakes = Girl - With my son it was sausage rolls and chow mein but every pregnancy is different.
My belly is a watermelon shape = Girl - Its long rather then round.
I look worse then normal = Girl - I have to wear a ton of makeup just to look like a member of the living. So either girl or really pretty boy lol!
The hair on my legs is a lot slower = Girl - This is great because I don't have to worry about shaving so much. In fact I shave once every three weeks rather than every few days. Its so weird.
Hubby hasn't gained weight = Girl - But then he never does no matter what he eats, although he is eating for two which might suggest Boy?
My pee is dull yellow = Girl - Not sure what the logic is there, maybe hormone related.
My pillow faces south = Girl - It did before the move and still does now.
My feet are the same = Girl - Although I never remember my feet doing anything with my son.
My nose has stayed the same = Girl - Also never remember a change with my son.
So mass prediction for a Girl so far but I'm not convinced because:
My hubbys side is almost all male on his dads side with 5 uncles and 1 aunt, one uncle has 9 boys and no girls another uncle has one girl. Hubby has only one sibling who is an older brother and his mother said she thought hubby was a girl because her pregnancy was so different.
My side is about equal for boys and girls, right down to mine and my sisters children, between us there are 4 boys and 4 girls.
Male sperm is quicker so chances are higher for a boy anyway.
They say that you are more likely to go on to have a boy after a miscarriage.
With my son I dreamed he was a boy, I had a dream this one was a boy near the first scan but only the other night I had a dream that I told the sonographer I could see boy parts but she corrected me that I was wrong and it was a girl.
I've been referring to the bump as a 'he' but that maybe just because I already have a boy, who knows?
So with all that taken in I am saying that this bump is a little boy.
Honestly though I don't actually want any particular sex of baby. I just want a happy healthy baby I can cuddle and watch grow up with their brother.

Hunters name was chosen before we found out so as soon as they said it's a boy we both said "hello Hunter" hehe. Its seems like so long to wait and so exciting. |

Slow hair growth, craving sweets, carrying low most of the time (with the exception of the last few weeks she finally moved back up thankfull!!) and early and severe morning sickness (although mine only lasted a couple weeks) and feeling like I look terrible. No wonderful preggers glow for me haha. Love my little girl though <3 |
| Comment from snolie14 » Posted Aug. 11, 2014 8:20am hahaha, don't ya just LOVE predicting?! I craved sweets with my oldest son...all 3 of my older boys' pregnancies were different. My middle son, I would have sworn he was a girl. I felt great the entire pregnancy. I only gained 22 lbs, I carried him differently....but nope, boy! I swore this pregnancy was a girl too...alas, it's another boy! My bf already has a daughter and his grandfather has, I think, 6 girls, so I was hoping! LOL At least my bf is getting his son! He's healthy, so that's all that matters to me anyways! Have fun Friday! |
