I had to go into the doctor today for a possible blood clot in my leg. I happened to mention how it seemed weird to me that the baby dropped down last week. Results... No blood clot, but I'm starting to dilate. We have a rough road ahead of us. No idea what to expect at this point.

Blood clots are scary and so is preterm labor! Sending you well wishes hoping she stays put a few more weeks!

So glad to hear that you don't have a clot, and hoping your little one stays put awhile longer, you are in our thoughts!

They will not slow anything down unless it looks like my contractions are strong enough to keep dilating me. If I get past 1 centimeter in a small amount of time, they will hospitalize me like they did with the first and put me on magnesium and try to stop the contractions until I'm 34 weeks if possible.

Glad to hear you don't have a blood clot! Hopefully she decided to stay put just for a bit longer. Can they do anything to slow things down?

She said I'm only partially dilated. So I'm guessing that means less than a full centimeter. Problem is the contractions are getting more frequent and stronger every day, so that's why they are concerned. I would not be surprised if my cervix has changed already by the time I go in for my appointment Friday morning.

Yikes. Thankfully no blood clots, and I am hoping she stays in there for a while. How many centimeters dilated are you? I only ask cause I dilated to 2 cm when my 1st dropped at around 30 weeks, but he stayed in until the day before his EDD
