Only 17 days until my due date! The hardest part of pregnancy for me is the unexpected. I wish I knew the exact date she would be here. We have discussed possibly inducing at 39 weeks, but now I'm having second thoughts about that as well. I want to meet her more than anything, but I kinda want to give her a chance to come on her own time. I don't know. Daddy is insistent on an induction if it's offered. He's so anxious to have this baby out.
I have been seriously nesting hardcore the last two days. Friday and Saturday were spent scrubbing every room from top to bottom, filing papers, organizing, getting rid of things, putting all the Christmas decor away, etc. Then I thought for sure I'd sleep for an eternity, but I was up and moving and wide awake at 7:45am today! Immediately started a load of laundry... Lol. I think I'm losing my mind.
Other than insane nesting and energy out of nowhere, nothing has really changed. Contractions still not regular, but some of them have definitely gotten stronger. A little more discharge than normal on and off. Occasionally lose appetite. Idk... I think labor will either take me by complete surprise or will be scheduled next week. She's just too comfy!

17 days! Seems like so long but it's really not, especially if she comes early!

I really haven't noticed more bruising, but I've had a lot more pain and bruising since about week 32 with the lovenox. My skin is just too tight on my belly now. They said two weeks ago that they are planning to induce at 39 weeks as well. Since I'm just on a low preventative dose, I'm praying I won't have to continue using anything once I give birth.

They aren't letting me go past 39 weeks even though I switch to heperin this week, I wondered since they weren't pushing the induction.

I agree heperin sucks. I was on 2x a day of lovenox, so now have to do 3x a day of heperin, which means dragging that vial around with me out and about. Have you noticed more bruising, I remember that being an issue when I switched last pregnancy?

i wish i had nesting instincts right now :( My house looks like a disaster zone after the holidays and i feel too achy and sore to do much about it.

Yes ma'am. But since I hit 36 weeks, I'm now on Heparin shots twice a day. I dislike them even more. Double the shots, and the syringes aren't prefilled.

You're so close! I know what you mean about being conflicted over induction, part of me is totally cool with just being induced at 39 per the plan, and the other part really wants her to make her debut on her own earlier. Did you have to do lovenox, I can't remember?

Nesting is no joke. That sh!t is for real lol. Sounds like things are starting to move along and she is well on her way!
