Bleeding Update
By SarahEMcCormick » Posted Sep. 23, 2015 3:47pm - 246 views - 6 comments

Hi everyone; I want to take a sec to say thank you all for the thoughts, comments, prayers, and for the advice. I have been doing nothing but resting since Sunday, although I've gotten up here and there to go pee, make something to eat, pick the kids up from their bus stops, and take my dog outside. Aside from that, I've been in bed. I've done a lot of sleeping since there isn't much else I want to do - and I know sleep heals.

I am super happy to announce that I have had zero bleeding today. None whatsoever. I did wipe the faintest amount of brown, old blood this morning after going pee - but that's it. I haven't been cramping much or anything. Praise God!

I feel a lot more hopeful right now; but I wish there was some way I could hear my baby's heartbeat so I would know he/she is okay. Then I would really feel reassured.

I love my baby so much already, I can't even explain. I just want everything to turn out okay. I am doing my best to think positive thoughts and happy thoughts. I am so thankful to have gotten this far already. I pray I keep on healing.

Fantastic news! So glad the bleeding has stopped. I've said it a million times on the website and I'll say it again. Buy a home doppler to keep your mind at ease. They are worth every single penny!

Hooray for no bleeding!! Brown blood is old blood and given how much fresh bleeding you had not long ago, that seems super normal! Is buying an inexpensive home doppler in your budget? You can get them online for a reasonable price and it might give you that reassurance you need. You're right at the gestational age where I would think you could find it on your own! Just a thought. :)

Great news! Hopefully your family understands and is helping. I've struggled with that my entire pregnancy. It's hard to balance everything. But sometimes you just have to take care of yourself first!
