Nice Strong Heartbeat

Had my 12 wk visit this morning. The nurse said my fundus was measuring 14 weeks but I wonder if she was including some of my belly fat in that measurement...I know I've gained more weight at this point than I did with Rachel or Colin, and it seems odd to be measuring 2 weeks ahead at this stage. Of course, my mind wants to go down the "what if it's twins?" lane, even though my doc said he only saw one on the U/S 4 weeks ago.
Junebug's heartbeat was 168 and sounded really strong - the nurse didn't even have to search for it, which made me feel good. I could listen to that sound all day. I can't wait for the kids to be able to hear it. I have another regular visit in 4 weeks and then our next ultrasound in 8 weeks which the kids will be able to come to and see Junebug and hear the heartbeat. Hopefully we will be able to find out boy or girl then, too!
Hard to concentrate on anything else now...I just keep hearing that sweet thump, thump, thump!
