Installed Car Seat
Daddy did a super-cleanup of the van and installed the carseat today. We are so ready to bring our Junebug home!!

Pretty well packed and ready to go except for a few things that will have to be thrown in at the last minute, but I am SO ready to meet my baby girl!

Baby Shower
Mom, Chrissy, Steph and Malori threw us a beautiful baby shower themed just like the nursery with blue, purple, green and butterflies. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Picked a Name
Our little Junebug finally has a name! But, we are keeping it a secret until she is here :)

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
Didn't go so well :( My result was one point above normal so I have to go in for a 3 hour test.
Update: My 3 hour test was normal, but I am still being treated as a gestational diabetic for the remainder of the pregnancy. As long as my 2hr PPBG stays under 120, I won't have to go on insulin.

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Junebug was really moving around after breakfast on Sunday, so I called DD over to see if she could feel it...and she did! Her face lit up with surprise - it was a wonderful feeling. Next in line were DS and DH. It was like they were getting their first contact with our new little family member. Very exciting!!

Found Out Baby's Gender
DH picked up the kids from school and came over to the Dr's office to see our 20 wk U/S. Junebug is a wiggly little worm, but the doc didn't see any "outdoor plumbing" so GIRL it is!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
Everyone excited but lots of surprised people who thought baby was a boy :) Never doubt a mama's intuition, tho! I felt "girl" all along!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I had told the nurse at my appt this morning that I thought I felt movement but only twice and it was more than a week in between. I was disappointed but she assured me it would happen soon. Then about 3 hours later I started feeling this little nudge in the same spot right where we always find the heartbeat and it lasted for almost 5 minutes!! So amazing.

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
Well, I can still wear most of my tops, but I had to trade out my regular jeans for maternity. I have just enough bump that my regulars are uncomfortable. DH just kinda raised his eyebrows like, it's becoming more obvious now! But, everyone we love knows now, so no need to camouflage our little Junebug!

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We told the kids on Sunday the 20th. Colin had the biggest smile on his face and Rachel was jumping and crying "I knew it would happen someday!" LOL. Then we went over to my parents for my mom's b-day and Rachel told her. She screamed and hugged me so hard I thought I would pass out. My dad said "I thought you were getting a dog!" hehe. We must have done a good job throwing him off the trail :) Then, on Thanksgiving, we let Colin tell DH's parents. His mom was so surprised and happy that we both started crying. His dad gave me an awkward hug, but then brought me a "Pregnancy Pointsettia" he called it, yesterday. I love my in-laws :)

First Prenatal Appointment
Had my first appointment today. Everything went well and we got to see our little peanut on the ultrasound and her the little heartbeat!!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
we heard the heartbeat on ultrasound - so fast like hummingbird wings!

Bought Baby's First Outfit
hit up the Halloween clearance aisle and found a cute sleeper - orange with black bats. Not your typical first outfit purchase, but there ya go :)

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Well, my boss IS my doctor, so of course I told him he has an appointment with me at the hospital in June of next year :)

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I was so nervous to test since I had a chemical pregnancy in September, but this test was much darker and no sign of any problems, praise Jesus!

Told Husband/Partner
DH knew I was testing that morning, so when I came out of the bathroom with a huge smile, he knew :)
