Junebug is on the move!

I had my 16 week checkup this morning. Since I am still measuring at 14 weeks, I know that the nurse I saw last time did not measure me correctly. I couldn't even feel my fundus then but I totally can now, so I know it has grown.

Heartbeat is a beautiful 157 beats per minute...once we caught it! The baby was all over the place and would not hold still to get a good reading! It was so funny - like playing hide and seek or tag. I said that ornery behavior sounds like something a girl would do, but DH thinks that is how a boy would be, lol. I think we each have a feeling Junebug is a girl, but he likes to remind me that boy is still possible...at least until our ultrasound in 4 weeks!

I so hope the baby cooperates and we are able to tell gender. DD was a prim little lady and kept her legs crossed so we didn't know for sure, but DS laid it all out there for everyone to immediately see, lol! Either way, I will be incredibly happy.

Also, I started feeling real movement this morning. When I was at the appointment I told the nurse that I wasn't sure I was feeling anything real yet since the two times I thought I felt baby movement it was only fora second and didn't happen again for almost a week. But about 3 hours after my appointment, I was sitting at my desk and felt this little nudge, then again, and again right in the spot we got the heartbeat. It went on for almost 5 minutes! It was lovely and I cried and didn't want it to stop. One of my most favorite parts of pregnancy, feeling my little one move.

Now I don't want to do any work, I just want to sit and wait for the next little nudge hello.
