Yikes, that was a close one!

So, I had my 34 week checkup on Monday the 14th. Despite my efforts to "be good" with my sugar intake, my PPBG was 115! Only 5 points away from having to go on insulin - yikes! Narrowly scraped by there, so I am trying to avoid sugar as much as possible these next 2 weeks. I really don't eat that much junk, which should be obvious to the doc by looking at my weight - I lost a pound this visit and I have only gained like 14 pounds total so far! But, I want the baby to be healthy, so I'll do what I gotta do!
She was very cooperative with heartones this time and they easily picked up on her 148 BPM. I measured at 32, so sticking with the trend of measuring two weeks behind...just hoping it doesn't mean I will be two weeks overdue come delivery!
I would love for her to arrive on or around Father's Day - what a special present for DH!
I have had tons of BH lately and some of what I consider a "real" contraction, given the intensity and pain - sooo different from the BH. We'll see if anything is happening at my next visit at 36 weeks...right after Memorial Day!
Nursery is coming along, only a few little things to finish up. Can't wait to bring her home!!!
