Baby Update: 1 month old!

Hi ladies! I hope you’re all staying safe and well in these crazy days. Just giving a little update. My 33-weeker is still in the NICU but hopefully only 1-2 weeks from coming home. I haven’t seen him in person since March 26 since visitation was suspended due to COVID-19 precautions. It’s been rough, but I’m glad my boy is safe. He’s up to 4 pounds 9 ounces (that’s 1.5 pounds up from his birthweight!) The nurses FaceTime us twice a day, and we get daily calls from the Dr. I have a freezer full of breastmilk for him when he comes home. I’m about 4.5 hours away from the hospital so can’t drop off milk daily. He had donor milk after the supply I had at the hospital ran out, but it had to be fortified to 24 calories anyway. He’s fed, adorable, and gets baby massages every day lol he loves it!
How crazy to get preeclampsia 3 times. I guess it’s time to officially say goodbye to going through another pregnancy. My husband is getting a vasectomy whenever elective surgery is safe/ok again. But after 6 years following people on CTP and CMP, I can’t stay away. So all best wishes to you dear ladies. Stay well and safe, enjoy the journey <3 I’m posting a recent pic of my boy!!

I'll keep you all in my prayers and I hope this closure for you is agreed upon by both of you and that you are content with it. Just as a pregnancy is agreed on, so should cutting off ties with the possibility. Keep us updated on your little guy xo |
