So the midwife called and postponed my 1st appt.
I have to wait a week to see her but in the meantime she told me to get my betas done. With such a gap between the 2 possible dates, that alone should give us an idea of how far along I am.
Next week she said she'll prescribe me a scan, so that means she doesn't have the equipment to do that which is a bit of a pain in the backside. Looks like I'm going to be doing quite a bit of walking...
Again, I feel the weight of being single and pretty much alone pressing down on me.
I'm now a bit tempted to give in to the dad and give him his stupid document so he can come and help but the reason I didn't is that he isn't a man of his word, not at all, so what's the point? Even if I do give him what he wants I'm pretty sure he won't fulfil his end of the bargain, he never has in the past.
