30 weeks and getting anxious
By Ninni84 » Posted May. 8, 2018 4:04am - 329 views - 7 comments

Hello everybody!!
just passed 30 weeks and 3 quarters of this pregnancy has flown by. Last time I gave birth at 36 weeks so I am starting to get a bit anxious since it is a real possibility that This baby will also be early. I have a strong feeling that anytime between 33 and 37 weeks is a good estimate of time of delivery. That is VERY sooon!!!!! I have to prepare very soon. Need to wash the baby clothes and pack a hospital bag. Last time I hat nothing prepared. Don't want to be surprised more than I have to.

I have a sonogram scheduled at 32 weeks to see if I might have another C-section this time.

At 33 weeks I have booked a maternity photoshoot and I am really looking forward to that. So sad that I did not get it done last time, so this time I want it so bad. Hopefully the birth is a few weeks after that.

And no I still do not know the gender of this baby. I have not cheated so far. Super excited to find out!!

Hope all of you other pregnant ladies are doing fine.

I'm very anxious, too, except this is my first

I hope you enjoy your photoshoot! I didn't get one with my daughter, so my stepsister-in-law took some sweet pictures of me, my daughter, and my belly this time. I also delivered at 36 weeks (failed induction that led to c-section), so I understand your anxiety about having your baby early. I hope the timing is good and you get the birth experience that you want! good for you for waiting to find out the gender! I know I'm having a second girl, but I'm not going crazy with pink in their room. I think light turquoise and gray are relaxing colors for me and the babies.

Oh. I like that. It America once you've had one c section some doctor's will refuse to even try a vaginal birth with the next baby. I had doctors turn me away because I wanted a vaginal birth after c section even though I had already done one successfully in the past.

@alexx800 Yes this pregnancy flew by, especially the 2nd trimester. Now I just feel huge. Still have to work until 37 weeks pregnant (unless I give birth early). It is getting hard to get to work so I've started driving to work. Usually I take the bus but have a 10 minutes walk from the bus stop to work and even that is getting painful.

@babylove14 Here in Norway, c-section is not optional. So unless there are reasons for a vaginal not to be the best option, that is what you have to try first. I had a c-section last time because the baby was transverse and the feet was down the birth canal. Would have been too risky to deliver vaginally if the cord came out first with feet. But after 2 c-sections you automatically get another c-section for the next baby. Will know more at my 32 week sonogram.

Wow 3rd trimester. Time is flying by. My daughter was born at 34 weeks so I totally understand your feelings. Try to stay positive. Good luck

Hi! I'm one day ahead of you so I just reached 30wks too! My sonogram is at 31wks. Are you going for a vaginal after c section? I have stubborn babies so I'm not anticipating a birth any time soon. My cervix doesn't even begin to change until 39wks. I think it's cool that you are waiting to find out the gender. I love the idea of it but lack the patience.
